Schlage’s home dimmer module (model RP200RNX) puts smart home lighting control in your hands from anywhere thanks to Nexia Home Intelligence. Turn lights on or off–even dim them–on command or at scheduled times from any Internet-enabled smartphone, tablet, or computer, thanks to the simplified home automation features of Nexia Home Intelligence. And you don’t need any advanced technical skills or home automation knowledge to install this dimmer module in your home.

You can set the dimmer to trigger the lights to come on when you punch the entry code into a compatible Schlage keypad deadbolt or lever. The dimmer module also enables you to brighten or dim a room on your way home to prepare a comfortable setting, as well as reduce energy use and save money by turning lights off after you leave the house. This module expands the reach of Nexia in your home by extending its range up to 200 additional feet so you can add more Nexia devices. It also includes a three-prong pass-through outlet, so you’re not sacrificing any outlet space.

This dimmer module measures 3.54 x 2.6 x 1.7 inches and has a 300-watt maximum load for the Nexia-controlled outlet. It’s compatible with incandescent table and floor lamps, is for indoor use only, and is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.

For remote access over the Internet, this module requires the Nexia Home Bridge (sold separately) for wireless connectivity, an activated Nexia account, and a monthly subscription of $9.99.

An open system, Nexia Home Intelligence allows you to affordably manage your home your way now, with just the Z-Wave components you want. Expand on it later, anytime you want–and as often as you want–by adding more Z-Wave components as your needs grow.

Gradually build your system with cameras, locks, lighting and small appliance controls, thermostats, and sensors over time. Additionally, Z-Wave products from Schlage and Trane work with other Z-Wave-based products available from a variety of providers, so you can customize your home automation and security system how you want it, when you want it.

To access remote management features, Nexia Home Intelligence requires a monthly subscription ($9.99), which includes a free one-month trial period that enables you to experience the benefits of this system before billed. There are no contracts or cancellation fees, and any unused months will be refunded. Additionally, the Nexia Home Intelligence system requires the Nexia Home Bridge (sold separately) for wireless connectivity.
